Our Participants on Day Walks are expected to:
- Take responsibility for their own safety and must comply with the Club policies and follow the instructions of the Leader.
- Ensure the activity is within your capability. (If in doubt, consult the leader prior to the activity.)
- Arrive at the meeting place 10 min prior to the designated departure time.
- Remain with the group at all times- If you feel you must leave the group then you must advise the Leader.
Cancellation
Any activity will be cancelled, without notice, when a “Total Fire Ban” is declared in the Central district and/or in the district in which the activity is to occur.
Transport:
Carpooling is recommended wherever practical. The Club recommends that the operating cost be shared between passengers.
Insurance:
On “Club Activities”, Members, including vistors, up to the age of 95years, are covered by a personal accident and public liability insurance policy through Bushwalking Victoria.
Our First Aider or Activity Leader will call an ambulance if they consider it appropriate, ambulance cover is strongly recommended.
